Welcome

Trinity Evangelical Church is a non-denominational congregation consisting of about 220 people. The church was planted in 1993 and has been meeting in its present location since 2007. Though most members live in the greater Fort Wayne area, many come from as far away as Auburn, Bluffton, Leo, Churubusco, Harlen, Decatur, Columbia City, Woodburn, and Markle. The church facility is easy to find, located on the south side of Fort Wayne near the airport.

We meet every Sunday morning at 10:00. Casual dress is acceptable. A staffed nursery is available for infants and toddlers under 2 years old. Children’s Sunday School is offered during part of the service for 6th graders and under. We also have an adult study and youth group on Wednesday nights.

Those who have become a part of our body generally refer to the following reasons for their involvement: 1) a high regard for Scripture and doctrinal orthodoxy, 2) love among the members, 3) an emphasis on discipleship, 4) a burden for persecuted Christians and the unborn, 5) a responsible board of elders, 6) prudent financial stewardship, and 7) a vibrant youth ministry.

The Scriptures, as found in both the Old and New Testaments, serve as our final authority in all matters of faith and practice; we regard them as inspired, infallible, and inerrant. Likewise, we adhere to the orthodox doctrines of historical Christianity as codified in the Apostles’ Creed, the Nicene Creed, the Chalcedon Statement, and the Athanasian Creed. All teachers—of children and adults—subscribe to the NAE’s Evangelical Affirmations.
