E4 – Not for the Casual Christian

Today’s church, more than ever, needs believers who know what they believe and why they believe it. What’s needed are men and women of God who have immersed themselves in the study of God’s Word, wrestled with the solid core of the Christian’s theological tradition, and learned the craft of defending the Faith in a culture that has forgotten God.

Few of us, however, have the opportunity or funds to devote years to studying these important topics which are so crucial to the health of the church. That’s where e4 comes in it’s designed to allow serious believers to pursue a real understanding of the “deep truths of the faith” (1Tim 3:9), while accommodating the hectic pace of our modern lives.

The name “e4” refers to Ephesians 4, where the Apostle Paul exhorts the church devote itself to “the perfecting of the saints, for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ” (verse 12).
